Thanks to the many citizens wearing reflective vests and materials while walking along our roadways at dusk and in the dark. We are happy to see you!!

Freezing conditions should be affecting our roads about this time of year. Please drive with caution.

Drug abuse costs Canadians $40,000,000,000  per year, not to mention pain caused to children and families. Let's do all we can to reduce the use of harmful substances. Call
424-2023 if you want more information, or to join a local committee on addiction awareness. We have found evidence of drug use on some patrols in the area.

Please be vigilant around schools, and watch for school zone speed limits. Speed enforcement officials are paying special attention to the speed limits posted around schools.

Recent studies are showing automobile accidents are caused not only by distracted cell phone users, but also by drivers involved in many other activities. When driving, remember to concentrate only on driving.

There are reports of con artists trying to obtain money for charities, or pretending to be bank employees. Some may try to get personal information both over the phone, and through e-mail. Never divulge any personal information, or donate funds unless you have verified that the receiver is legitimate, no matter how compelling their pitch, or how impressive the web site may be. Always deal with phone numbers, or people you know are legitimate.
